Rant'in And A Rave'in

Today's Rant:

Why must department stores put the "Today's Woman" department in a "special" place that cannot be found without having to ask for help? Seriously, as if we didn't already feel alienated enough, they make us shop upstairs and in the back corner.

Gross.

There's a lot I used to hate about where department stores put the larger size department. One time our local Dillard's put it next to Petites (so there'd be contrast?) and right next to the box office so there'd be huge lines of people waiting to buy concert tickets with nothing better to do than watch the large-size women shop.

My local Penny's does a pretty good job, their's is located in a very accessible area. But the Dillards is next is in a tiny area under the escalator :(

I just love it when it is right next to the maternity clothes - and the maternity section flows right into the womans section. I also hate it when all the misses clearance items get moved to the womans section. They make us seem like an after thought.

Ugh, I so know what you mean! I came upon the right section by complete accident at Kohl's the other day!

Amen, sister!!!! Our target has the plus sizes right next to maternity...sometimes I get confused!!!

You're so right. It seems that the "womens" section is getting smaller and smaller these days and harder to find. We have to walk through rack after rack of cute misses clothes to find that most of the womens sizes look like they were bought a hundred years ago.

i hate shopping for clothes in the "womans" department.
In 2010, lets get into the "Misses"
size 14 and less.
WE CAN DO THIS, THIS YEAR!!
